Basic Life Support (BLS)- Healthcare Provider CPR

The BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers course covers core materials such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios, foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation.

• This course is designed for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physicians assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses and respiratory therapists who must have a credentials (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course
• Upon completion of the hands on skills test a written exam will be administered. Healthcare Providers will receive a certification card good for two years.

Heartsaver CPR/AED

The Heartsaver CPR/AED Course teaches CPR, AED and relief of choking in adults and children. This course also covers infant CPR, relief of choking and use of barrier devices for all ages.

• This course is for those people who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements including but not limited to OSHA requirements.
• This course includes training and certification for the use of an AED This course includes a comprehensive skills test. Upon completion the student will receive a CPR card valid for two years.

Heartsaver First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries until professional help arrives. The course content includes; General Principles, Medical Emergencies and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR and AED.

• This course is designed for those people who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergencies because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements such as OSHA requirements.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in children professional help arrives. Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies and optional CPR and AED.

• This course is for those people involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches for children’s sports organizations.

Friends and Family CPR

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for school students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
