Life Saver Classes offers the most convenient and cost effective CPR & First Aid courses in Oregon and Washington.
Our courses offer extensive hands on practice along with real life examples of situations where CPR and/or other lifesaving techniques may be needed. This allows students the ability to retain the curriculum ensuring proper technique and overall confidence in what they have learned. Each course is tailored to meet your particular requirements and include a variety of options and pricing. Upon completion of the Heartsaver and BLS courses students will receive a certification card good for two years through the American Heart Association.
All training is done in the setting of your choice; utilizing a variety of video, lecture, and hands on practice. This allows students to ask questions and perfect the methods used in each course.
Lisa Lien, IBCLC
Lisa is an Oregon native who graduated from Gresham High School and Western Oregon University. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Lactation Consulting. Lisa is an American Heart Association Instructor, Registered International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and has been teaching CPR and First Aid classes for over a decade. In addition to owning her own business, she also works for Legacy Health Systems as a Lead CPR instructor and Lactation Consultant.
When Lisa is not teaching or working with new mom’s you will find her spending time with her 4 children, husband, dogs, cats, and extended family. Outside of family, Lisa enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors.
Barbara Smith
Barbara graduated from Parkrose High School, received her Nursing Degree from the University of Portland, and her MSN (Masters of Science in Nursing Education) from Western Governors University. She has worked in several nursing capacities over her career and currently works in the Labor and Deliver Unit at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Additionally, Barbara is a clinical instructor for Mt. Hood Community College’s nursing program as well as Lead CPR instructor for both Legacy Emanuel and Mt. Hood Medical Centers’. With over 20 years of practical and instruction experience, Barbara has utilized CPR in real life situations; personally and professionally.
Barbara is the mother of 7 children, 3 of whom still live at home. She has a passion for travel and has been fortunate to visit a variety of unique places around the globe. When Barbara is not teaching, working or travelling, you will find her in the kitchen cooking for family or working in the garden.
